Last week, our Managing Director, Taiwo Okeneye, was invited to attend His Majesty’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace, a prestigious event recognising individuals across the UK who have made significant contributions to education, skills, and public service.
It was a proud and humbling moment — not just for Taiwo, but for all of us at VividBlock. While the spotlight may have shone briefly at Buckingham Palace, the real story has always been the work happening in communities, classrooms, charities, and organisations we’ve been fortunate to support.
Why This Matters to Us
At VividBlock, our mission has always gone beyond technology. We believe in using IT, cybersecurity, and digital tools to empower people, build resilience, and create access to opportunity. Whether it’s delivering training to underrepresented groups, building systems for charities and social enterprises, or running workshops on digital safety — education and digital skills are at the core of everything we do.
Over the years, Taiwo has championed inclusive tech across Wales and the UK — working quietly behind the scenes to support community-led digital inclusion initiatives, skills development programmes, and IT infrastructure for organisations doing vital work.
A Reflection of Shared Purpose
This recognition is not just about one person. It reflects the values that drive our team: service, clarity, innovation, and community.
We’re honoured by the invitation — and even more committed to continuing the work that earned it.
Thank you to our partners, clients, and communities who trust us to do this work every day.
